Dwight Fisher grew up while living in many regions of the United States. In 1973, while living in Tucson, he met and married his wife Patricia. They have two adult children living in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dwight finished his B.S. Degree at the University of Arizona in 1975 and began working in agricultural research. He finished his M.S. in 1983 and his Ph.D. in 1985 at North Carolina State University. After graduation, he joined the faculty of NC State University and worked as a professor until 1997 and federal research leader until 2011. After retiring, he conducted statistical analyses for a major agricultural company from 2013 until 2016. Dwight continues to consult part time on experimental designs and analyses. In the mid-1990s, while living in North Carolina, the Holy Spirit, bible study, and reading convinced him of the soundness of reformed theology. Since that time, Dwight has tried to preach and teach in conformity to reformed doctrine and spent 14 years in Georgia doing so. In the summer of 2016, Dwight and Pat relocated to Tucson and made their vacation church, TRBC, their permanent church home. He has been an elder since 2020.
